Privacy Policy

EzClaw is a tool that helps you deploy your own AI assistant to your own cloud server. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

When you use EzClaw, we collect:

• Email address — For authentication and account management
• OAuth tokens — Temporary tokens from cloud providers (DigitalOcean, etc.) to deploy servers on your behalf
• Basic usage data — To improve our service and diagnose issues

We explicitly do NOT collect or have access to:

• Your AI conversations (they stay on YOUR server)
• Your API keys (we pass them directly to your server)
• Your messaging content (stays on your server)
• Any personal data processed by your AI assistant

The AI assistant runs entirely on a server YOU own and control. After setup, EzClaw has no access to your server or the data processed by your assistant. You can delete your server at any time directly from your cloud provider's dashboard.

Account data is stored securely in our database. OAuth tokens are temporary and used only during the setup process. SSH keys generated during setup are stored only in your browser's session storage and never transmitted to our servers.

We retain data as follows:

• Email addresses — Retained while account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion
• OAuth tokens — Deleted immediately after deployment completes, or within 24 hours if failed
• Server configuration — Stored encrypted, retained while account is active
• Usage logs — Retained for 90 days for debugging purposes

We integrate with the following third-party services:

• Cloud providers (DigitalOcean, Vultr) — To deploy your server
• Vercel — Hosts our setup wizard
• Resend — For sending authentication emails

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Your data may be processed in the United States. By using this service, you consent to this transfer.

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar privacy regulations, you have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of data we hold about you
• Delete — Request deletion of your account and data
• Correct — Request correction of inaccurate data
• Export — Receive your data in a portable format

You are solely responsible for:

• The server deployed through this service and all content/data on it
• Compliance with your cloud provider's terms of service
• Compliance with AI provider terms of service (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.)
• Compliance with all applicable laws regarding your use of AI assistants
• Securing your server and any credentials stored on it

This service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you via email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EzClaw and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This privacy policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
